This series of portraits are a collection of photographs of people who Juli enjoys to create.
Portraits represent the artist's start with photographs since she first got a camera in the late 90's, and it is also a way she finds to communicate current issues, also a way to interact with people and to be able to learn about their cultures, their stories and their lives. These photographs include images from fictitious characters, strangers, friends, families to commissions and personalities, who are mostly in the arts, humanitarian or environmental fields.

This work was created after a visit to a Guarani community on the coast of the Atlantic Forest in São Paulo / Brazil.
A photo-based work printed on a found piece of raw marble, and displayed at the Embassy of Brazil in London in March 2025.
The stone represents a global fight against deforestation and a symbol of respect for every local community facing invasion and exploitation of their lands.
